Proposed Worship Centre

For some years the church at Sumner has been full to overflowing for the 10:30am contemporary service on Sunday mornings.  We recognise that in Sumner-Redcliffs there is a great potential for growth, but this is restricted by our ability to house more people.

In February 2007 a project was launched to begin fundraising to construct a new auditorium, to be located on the Sumner site behind the present church.  Plans have been drawn for a building that will seat 400 people, with offices, crèche and multi-purpose rooms included.  At this time there is no anticipated date for commencement of construction and it is expected that fundraising will continue over a number of years.
