International Day of Prayer - Voice of the Martyrs

Kia  ora Friends,

On Sunday 1 November, we'll be gathering in Christchurch for an IDOP  Picnic & Prayer Walk as part of the International Day of Prayer  for the Persecuted Church. We'd love for you to join us.

 1:00pm - 2:00pm | Picnic & Fellowship

Meet  at Richmond Community Garden for a BYO picnic lunch and the  opportunity to connect with other believers.

Riverlution  Café will be open with limited food options available. If you'd like a hot  drink, we recommend bringing a travel mug or keep cup.

 2:00pm - 3:00pm | Guided Prayer Walk

We'll  take part in a gentle guided prayer walk, hearing stories from the persecuted  church and praying together. Don't worry, it's not an hour of continuous  walking. There will be plenty of stops along the way for reflection and  prayer.

 What to bring

  • Your lunch and a drink
  •
  • A picnic blanket or camp chair
  •
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  •
  • A hat, sunscreen, or light jacket depending on the       weather
  •
  • A keep cup if you'd like to grab a coffee from       Riverlution Café
  •

Around  the world, many Christians continue to face imprisonment, violence,  rejection, and other forms of persecution because of their faith. This day  gives us the opportunity to stand with them in prayer.

 "Please pray for us."

This  simple request is heard from persecuted Christians around the world. So this  IDOP, let's come together and pray.

Whetheryou're coming on your own, with family, friends or people from your church,we'd love to have you join us.

GodBless,

Voice of the Martyrs NZ
