Our annual Light Party was another great success! Held as a fun, free, and family-friendly alternative to Halloween, the Chapel grounds were full of laughter, colour, and plenty of energy.
There was something for everyone including a bouncy castle, BBQ, face painting, a skate ramp, and loads of games to keep kids entertained. We cooked up 300+ sausages and handed out 1,000 candy flosses across the evening!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the night possible too. From the setup crew to the BBQ team, game organisers, to those who stayed to tidy up afterwards; you guys are the real MVPs. Events like this only happen because of the effort and heart of our church community, so thank you.
We also want to give a special thanks to the Sumner Volunteer Fire Brigade for bringing their fire truck along. The kids loved it! Fresh Choice Sumner for your contribution to our sausage sizzle keeping the community fed.
It really was a great night.
