Nayland Chapel Update

You might've noticed there's been some activity around Nayland Chapel over the last few weeks, culminating in diggers hard at work leveling the front yard. We're in the process of addressing deferred maintenance issues + beautifying the exterior of the building.

To date we have completed the following:

• Weather tightened the Chapel

• Treated borer

• Replaced rotten timbers externally and internally on the Chapel

• Painted the foyer and kitchen

• Relocated the parish office to Nayland Chapel

• Refurbished the toilets

• Installed a disabled access bathroom and baby changing room

• Investigated flooding damage repair options (ongoing)

• Agreed to install heating for the youth group/skate ramp room

We're currently beautifying the exterior of the property which allows us to also address historic storm water drainage issues on site. A big thank you to local builder Glen Cook for his high quality workmanship on the site to date. Chapel users, please be aware that we have arranged alternative access to the site via the rear entrance. Contact the office for more details if required.
