Our new church camp is on!
After our Alpha weekend away together Vestry thought it'd be fantastic if kicked off 2026 with a church camp - hence our new SumRed Whanau Camp!
We've confirmed the camp for 6 to 8 March 2026 at Hibburt Park. There'll be some worship, a workshop or two for those keen, and heaps of free time so we can take advantage of the beach, playground, bike tracks, skate park, coffee cart (yes, our own coffee cart!), fire place with marshmallows & more.
We've also sorted different accomodation options with powered tent sites, shared cabins, or bunkrooms available (we'll chuck the youth in their own space so they can have fun without us adults in the mix). There will alsobe quiet spaces for little ones and for anyone who needs a breather. Evenings will finish around the fireplace with marshmallows. Day visitors are very welcome, with a mini bus running from church.
