Essentially ,the Chancellor of an Anglican Diocese is the Bishop’s main legal adviser, guiding the church on laws and rules. They help with matters like property, clergy issues, and making sure church decisions follow the law. It's an important role that has a significant impact on the direction and operation of the wider church.
