Pop this one in the calendar now. Our next church camp is locked in for the weekend of 9 to 11 October at Hibburt Park, and we'd love as many of you there as possible.
If you came along last time, you'll know the drill. It's for everyone: singles, couples, families, old friends and new, and anyone who's joined SumRed recently. We'll worship together across the weekend, and there's a coffee cart organised to keep everyonegoing.
On the Saturday we'll run workshops and sessions for all ages and stages, including:
There's also free time built into the Saturday so you can get out and enjoy the place. Take a walk in Bottle Lake Forest, head out on a mountain bike, let the kids loose on the adventure playground at Spencer Park (just across the road), or have a skate on the skate ramp.
Then on the Sunday,there'll be no services at Sumner or Redcliffs. Instead we'll all gather for a combined service at Hibburt Park. If you can't make the whole weekend, we'll have rides available that morning for anyone wanting to come just for the Sunday.
We've also got a guest speaker in the works and we'll share more about who they are very soon, along with accommodation options, cost, and the registration form.
