We’re excited to announce that Chrystal has returned from maternity leave and has now stepped into a full-time role on our staff team at Sumner-Redcliffs Anglican Church as our new Families, Youth, and Children’s (Lay) Minister.
Chrystal is married to Gari, and together they have a son, Micah. Chrystal brings a wealth of ministry experience both in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas, and we’re thrilled to have her leading and supporting our ministry with children, young people, and families as part of our church whānau. Chrystal also completed her teaching degree in 2025, which will be a real gift to her role and ministry among us.
We also want to take a moment to express our deep thanks to Gari, who filled in during Chrystal’s maternity leave. We are so grateful for his faithful care, leadership, and ministry among our young people throughout 2026. We’re also delighted to congratulate him on his recent appointment as a youth worker with FUSE, a local youth trust based here in Sumner.
