Nayland Chapel Working Bee

On Saturday 1 November a group of parishioners set to work at Nayland St Chapel.

We stained the pergola and the new arch, cut back trees, removed rubbish, and chopped firewood. The gardens were planted, weed matting laid, and mulch spread to finish things off. It was a full day of teamwork and decent mahi. This marked the completion of the beautification project for the Chapel with all that remains to be done being a little more mulch to be spread after we ran a little light!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped. Your time and energy have made a real difference to how the Chapel looks and feels. It's awesome to have such a welcoming space representing the church within the wider community.

A particular thank you to Monty for his efforts in constructing the archway in time for the staining to take place.
