Get Plugged In at SumRed Church

Church is more than something we attend on Sundays. It’s a community where people build friendships, grow in faith, and support one another in everyday life.

Whether you are brand new or have been visiting for a while, there are many ways to get connected at Sumner-Redcliffs Anglican Church. Some people begin by attending a gathering during the week, others join a small group, and some simply start by coming along to a social event or meeting a few people over coffee.

Wherever you are starting from, there is a place for you here and a way to get plugged in!

Connect Digitally

One of the best ways to feel connected physically is to be connected digitally. We send a monthly email newsletter with key info for the weeks ahead. We also have an app (SumRed Connect). Joining our email list & downloading the app are the best ways to stay in the loop about life at church.

You can download our SumRed Connect app for Android here or for Apple here!

Or you can sign up for our monthly #HeartBeat email here:

Connect Socially

There are a number of social gatherings happening regularly here at SumRed Church.

From Pie & Pint nights, Ladies Inspire, Create and Connect, Club Redcliffs, church camps and more - there are lots of ways to meet others socially beyond a Sunday!

Check out our 'Social gatherings' page under the Community tab at the top of this page for more info.

Connect Spiritually

Come to church!

One of the best ways to get plugged in at church is to attend a service.

We have services meeting throughout the week across four locations: St Andrew's Church (Redcliffs), Nayland Chapel (Sumner), Edith Cavell retirement village, and Sumner School hall.

Check out our 'Worship times & locations' page for more info.

But if you're keen to connect spiritually beyond a service why not consider a home group? We have a number of home groups meeting across the wider area. Home groups are an amazing way to develop friendships with new people while also growing spiritually. We’re also in the midst of setting up a couple of new groups so get in touch if you’d like to know more.

Serve

Serving alongside others is a great way to develop a sense of belonging while making a difference in the lives of others. From serving coffee, helping with social media, to visiting the elderly at Edith Cavell; there are so many ways you can serve.
